In the welcoming ceremony, the kids put on some kind of performance which also includes the signing of "Oh Canada". The slide show seen here is an option for the participants to perform. Sing, dance, act, paint, acrobatics, recite a poem - let your creativity shine!
During the farewell ceremony, every student says a few public words of thanks to their host family. Preparing this brief speech is an activity which you share with your host family during your stay with them.
